Live on the App Store and Google Play, built and maintained in house.
Your project lead runs the build from the first call through launch, with the full team behind them.
Work is quoted as fixed milestones after scoping, so you know the full number before anything starts.
Volt built a custom website and a custom mobile app for my business, and both have improved my onboarding and my day to day productivity. We went from paper documentation to a fully digital workflow.

A Philadelphia home care agency ran onboarding entirely on paper. Now it runs on an app.
Hands to Hold Home Care had file cabinets of caregiver records, aging documents out of order, and a hiring process that lived in paper folders. Volt rebuilt the entire flow as a custom app for caregivers, clients, and administrators: applications, signed policies, compliance training, competency tests, and incident reports, all digital, all tracked, and still able to pass a state audit.
It is live today on the App Store and Google Play, and it replaced the paperwork completely.
Software shaped around your process, not a template you have to bend to fit.
Replace a paper or spreadsheet process
Intake forms, signatures, compliance records, and approvals move into one system your team actually uses.
Custom iPhone and Android apps
One codebase built with Flutter, shipped to both stores, with push notifications, accounts, and payments wired in.
Internal portals and dashboards
Give staff, clients, or contractors their own login and only the information that belongs to them.
Systems that do not talk to each other
APIs, databases, and integrations that connect the tools you already pay for instead of replacing them.
Three steps, and you approve the design before anything gets built.
We map the workflow
A working session on how the process runs today, where it breaks, and what a fix is actually worth.
You approve the interface first
You see and sign off on every screen before a line of production code gets written.
Build, wire, and ship
Real data, real accounts, submitted to the App Store and Google Play under your own developer account.
Every project is scoped before it is quoted.
A focused tool and a system that replaces an entire process are very different jobs, so they are never priced the same way. Volt takes on work at three sizes, and the conversation starts with which one fits.
Focused build
A single tool or one narrow workflow. The fastest way to put a nagging manual task on software without committing to a full system.
Full application
Accounts, payments, push notifications, and an admin side, shipped to the App Store and Google Play under your own developer account.
System replacement
Multiple roles, permanent records, and compliance requirements. The work that retires a filing cabinet or a stack of spreadsheets for good.
Whichever size fits, the work is quoted as fixed milestones rather than hourly, so you know the full number before anything begins. Payments are tied to design approval and delivery, never to time spent.
You own the code and the app store listings. There is no monthly retainer required to keep your own software running.

What does a custom app actually cost?
Every project is quoted after a scoping conversation, because a focused tool and a system that replaces an entire process are very different jobs with very different budgets. Work is priced as fixed milestones rather than hourly, so you know the full number before anything begins, and there are no open ended invoices.
How long does it take?
A focused first version is typically six to ten weeks from the scoping session to the app stores. Larger systems that replace an existing process run longer, and the milestone schedule tells you the dates before you commit.
Who owns the code and the app store listings?
You do. The code is yours, the App Store and Google Play listings are published under your own developer account, and there is no monthly retainer required to keep your own software running.
What if I already have a developer?
That is common and it is fine. Plenty of work here is finishing, fixing, or extending something that already exists. If your current developer is the right person to continue, we will tell you that instead of selling you a rebuild.
What happens after launch?
Volt stays through submission, store review, and the first weeks live, because a launch that breaks quietly in week two was never finished. That covers the first round of real user feedback and the small fixes that come out of it.
Do you work with businesses outside Philadelphia?
Yes. Volt is based in Philadelphia and works with businesses in Montgomery County, Bucks County, and across the country. Everything runs over video calls and shared previews, so location has never been the constraint.
