A private cookbook app built to help people save family recipes, organize meals, and keep cooking ideas easy to find.
The Challenge
Recipes often live in too many places at once: screenshots, handwritten cards, websites, notes apps, and memory. That makes meal planning harder than it needs to be, especially when someone wants to keep family recipes and everyday favorites together.
The product needed to feel simple enough for quick capture, but structured enough to support categories, photos, collections, and a premium path without making the core cookbook feel cluttered.
What We Built
Volt built Recipe Vault as a focused mobile app for saving, browsing, and creating recipes with a clean cookbook experience and a lightweight upgrade path.
Cookbook Home
RECIPESThe main recipe view puts saved recipes first, with category filters and visual cards that make the collection feel easy to scan.
Recipe Creation
CREATEThe add recipe flow captures the details users expect, including title, cover photo, category, ingredients, and preparation steps.
Account Controls
SETTINGSSettings keep account actions, sharing, notifications, privacy, and premium controls in one predictable place.
The Outcome
Recipe Vault turns a scattered recipe collection into one organized mobile cookbook, with fast browsing, simple recipe entry, and room for premium collections as the product grows.
