The Challenge
Most listening apps open on dense grids, autoplaying previews, and a catalog so large that choosing something takes longer than listening to it.
The app needed to make picking a story feel effortless, work the same on a phone and a computer, and keep a growing library of original titles easy to browse.
What We Built
Volt Stream is one of Volt's own products, built and run in house rather than for a client, and every story in it is original. Volt built one app that runs on Android and Windows from the same code.
Home and Titles
LISTENA featured story greets you first, shelves sit below it, and every title opens to one clear Play button.
Search and Settings
SETTINGSSearch stays quiet until you type, and settings keep account, premium, sharing, support, and a dark mode switch in one short list.
The Outcome
Volt Stream gives original stories a calm place to live, with a library that can grow without getting harder to browse. It is live on Google Play and the Microsoft Store.
