Hands to Hold Home Care
A custom care management app built for a real, licensed Philadelphia home care agency, one system for onboarding, compliance training, and incident reporting.
The Challenge
Hands to Hold Home Care Agency LLC is a licensed home health and personal assistance agency serving Philadelphia and Montgomery County. Running a licensed care agency means constant paperwork: caregiver applications, mandatory annual compliance training, required documents that expire and need renewal, and incident reports that have to be filed and reviewed properly.
Before working with Volt, all of that ran on paper and scattered spreadsheets, workable, but the kind of setup that makes a state licensing audit stressful and makes it easy for a document to quietly expire without anyone noticing until it becomes a problem.
What We Built
Volt built Hands to Hold a single custom Flutter app, live on both the App Store and Google Play, with three distinct experiences designed around exactly how a home care agency actually runs day to day. We also built and maintain their website.
Caregiver Experience
CAREGIVERGuided onboarding, required document tracking, structured annual compliance training with built in competency testing, and a simple incident reporting flow, all in one place instead of paper packets.
Client Experience
CLIENTA parallel intake and document flow built around what a care recipient actually needs to provide, service authorization, required IDs, and HIPAA acknowledgment, kept simple without hiding what's required.
Administrator Experience
ADMINA live operational dashboard the owner actually uses to see enrolled clients, active caregivers, pending applications, and training compliance across the whole caregiver network, plus a full audit log for anything sensitive, exactly the kind of visibility a licensed agency needs to stay audit ready.
The Outcome
Hands to Hold Home Care now runs caregiver onboarding, annual training compliance, and incident reporting through one system instead of paper files and spreadsheets, live and in active use on both the App Store and Google Play today.
