Terms of Use

The rules for using the Safe and Sweet Home Care app, in plain words.

Last updated: October 20, 2026

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Safe and Sweet Home Care, LLC (“Safe and Sweet”, “we”, “us”), the home care agency whose app this is. By creating an account or using the Safe and Sweet Home Care app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Volt LLC developed the app and runs it for Safe and Sweet. Volt is not a party to your employment or your care, and these terms do not create any agreement between you and Volt beyond your use of the app.

What the app is for

The app lets Safe and Sweet office staff, caregivers, job applicants and clients handle the work of home care in one place: applications and onboarding, documents and certifications, training and quizzes, TB screening, schedules and visits, incident reports, messages and notifications.

The app is a tool for organizing that work. It is not medical advice and does not replace the judgment of a nurse, doctor or other professional. In an emergency, call 911. Do not rely on an in app message or notification to report anything urgent; call the office.

Who may use it

You must be at least 18 years old, and an office staff member, a caregiver or applicant, or a client of Safe and Sweet or someone acting for a client. Safe and Sweet may approve, limit or remove access according to your role.

Your account

  • Give accurate, current information, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password private and do not let anyone else sign in as you.
  • Tell the office straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
  • You are responsible for what is done through your account.

Information you submit

You confirm that documents, forms, test answers, signatures and records you submit are true and are yours to submit. A signature you give in the app counts as your signature on that document. Submitting false information, or someone else's work or documents, may end your access and, for caregivers and applicants, your application or employment.

Applying through the app does not guarantee a job. Employment decisions, pay and working conditions are set by Safe and Sweet under its own policies and the law, not by these terms. How your information is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Look at, copy or share anyone's records unless your role and your work require it.
  • Share client information outside the app except as Safe and Sweet's policies and the law allow.
  • Send harassing, abusive, unlawful or misleading messages.
  • Try to get around security, reach data you are not allowed to see, or interfere with the app.
  • Upload anything containing malware, or that you have no right to upload.

Training content and the app itself

Training videos, quizzes, policies and forms in the app belong to Safe and Sweet or its licensors and are for your use while working with Safe and Sweet only. The app's software and design belong to Volt LLC and are licensed to Safe and Sweet. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer the app.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app available and accurate, but it may sometimes be unavailable, change, or contain errors. Keep your own copies of anything you need, and check with the office if something looks wrong. We may update or stop offering features at any time.

Ending your use

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time in Settings, under Delete Account. Safe and Sweet may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, when your employment or care ends, or when required by law. Records the law requires us to keep are kept as the Privacy Policy explains.

Disclaimers and limits

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, Safe and Sweet and Volt LLC make no warranties about it, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither Safe and Sweet nor Volt LLC is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law, or changes Safe and Sweet's obligations to you as an employer or as a care provider.

App stores

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms also apply. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms, are not responsible for the app or its support, and have no obligation to maintain it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms for the App Store version and may enforce them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about them or the app will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, and you and Safe and Sweet agree to those courts' jurisdiction.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date on this page, and tell you in the app if the change is significant. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions go to:
